Installation of the tint was a bit tricky, but went well overall. The support was great as well: Somehow, the driver side door tint got scratched. There was no way to repair it, so Twraps offered to replace the film so long as they had no shipping obligation. The replacement film looks so much better.

I originally ordered tint for my Model Y Juniper, and while the product itself was correct, after installing it I realized the shade was darker than I personally preferred. I reached out to explain the situation, and they were incredibly understanding and responsive. Instead of giving me a hard time about it, they immediately worked with me to find a solution so I could get exactly what I wanted.

What really impressed me is that they actually offered to send me an additional tint for free, even though the issue was more about my preference than any mistake on their part. The film looks great once installed and was very easy to line up and apply. Everything fit as expected. However, there were some rough-cut edges on the film from the factory that stuck out. I had to trim those sections myself to get a clean finish, and if you look closely, it doesn’t look like a perfectly clean job. It wasn’t a dealbreaker, but it did add extra work and I’ll be watching closely to see if these rough cut edges will eventually lead to it pealing back. Overall, happy with the end result, but the quality control could be better.

***Update****
Iliya and the team contacted me about the issue and offered to send replacements since they had fixed the issue with their cutting machine. The new pieces are flawless and look great! Overall pleased with the product and the service!

I would highly recommend this PPF kit to anyone. I have never installed vinyl or PPF before. I watched the TWraps YouTube instructional video and went right out and completed it, in 8 hours! It was a hard day, I’m old, I would split it up over two days if I ever did it again. Lliya, called me directly and texted when I had questions, he was super helpful!

Fair warning: DIY tinting is definitely an art form! While the process is challenging for a beginner, their video instructions were incredibly helpful in walking me through the technique. For my first time ever attempting this, the results turned out quite well.

I ran into some environmental issues (dust/debris) that caused a less-than-perfect install on my passenger window. Overall I am very happy with the product. No one who knows me would believe I tinted my own vehicle but the youtube video was all I needed to get the job done. I do wish they offered 15% as 5% is too illegal and a guarantee to get pulled over. 20% is too light.
