Don’t Make This Mistake!

I screwed up. I bought mud flaps for my R1T from a competitor (should I name them here? Sounds a lot like Tesmanian). They didn’t fit. The tools they provided were the wrong size. Photo below shows how their rear flap bracket doesn’t reach the screw; even if it did, there was no spacer for the recessed screw head. Buy right here from TWRAPS.

These are not bad but not great. More fitmemt research and they coould be great. Fromt flaps need to be bent on the top right corner for a more flush clean look from the fenderwell. The rears fit well however the bracket twraps designed needs a little work.

Super easy to install. Seems to provide just the right coverage. Matches the car well. Can't ask for anything more!

Update: Changing my review as the seller has been extremely responsive and easy to work with. We are working on a solution together to ensure this isn’t a problem. Highly recommend TWRAPS.

This is likely a Rivian issue and not a TWRAPS issue, but my screws for the rear flaps on the bottom are half the length as those shown in the video. They don’t come anywhere near close enough to thread. The existing plastic is recessed. The combination of losing the recess in the plastic, plus the extra clip of plastic results in not being able to screw the screws in.

Everything else about the mudflaps and the rest of the screws worked great. Just doesn’t work for fastening the rear flaps at the bottom.

Nice and Easy

Another product that is easy to install. Just watch the video before you start the installation process.

The redesign TWRAPS mud flaps are great. Smooth on both sides so no need for left right fitment. The redesigned underbody L bracket is a significant improvement over the original bracket especially with the built in spacer for filling in the recess on the under panel.I found the fitment to be extremely tight for both front and rear. The L bracket now sliding through the lower portion of the rear mud flaps reduces the space in the wheel well significantly over the original design.Customer service is beyond excellent. Replacement parts are sent out within one day of requesting them for all their products, for which I have several different ones. Especially helpful when the problem is the customer and not the product.Highly recommend these mud flaps for a Rivian R1S.
