Tints Glossary

An important characteristic of tint films is the VLT. It stands for Visible Light Transmission. It means how much of the light in the visible light spectrum will go through that film. The smaller the VLT number, the darker the film and less light will transmit through it.Β

Headlight smoke tint

Slightly difficult to install despite the template being cut to size, other than that, looks really good! Love the stealth look

A slick look to my Model S Plaid

Very simple to install, following the excellent video instruction provided. This wrap gives a very slick look to my car taillights.

Awesome look & EASY to install.

Went with the Dark Smoke tint. Love the look! Took about 20 minutes or so to install. Brake and reverse lights shine just as bright as they did without the tint. Everything is included. Just needed a microfiber towel to whipe off after each install.

100% recommended!

Great product and results

Good product with good instructions. I didn't want too dark so this is the lightest tint. Only difficulty was wrapping around the curves of the head light

Easy installation and makes the car look absolutely stunning. It was my first time installing vinyl onto a car and with the help of their YouTube videos I was able to install it with the help of my wife.

Great quality tinted PPF

I had previously installed this PPF film on my 2018 Model 3, and purchased another set for my 2023 Model 3 Performance. Film is quite simple to install with patience and TWRAPS has great customer service. The Medium Smoke (50% VLT) looks so clean on my car and I always get compliments about it. Would highly recommend to anyone interested in protecting the expensive headlights from rock chips, etc and enhance the look as well!

Really easy to install :) I bought the 50%

So I started by buying the grey smoke tint and after I saw it removed it and put on the darker 30% tint. The grey looks good but if you have black and want the fog lights to blend into the front of a model S you need the darkest ones.

The photo in my review has both of them on from roughly the same angle in the same lighting. Keep in mind it's a garage white LED so it fades the tint out a bit and the daylight look will be darker for both tints.

Quality thick film that looks amazing but was not very easy to install. Ended up having to take it to a local shop to install.
