How to install

FAQs

How long does PPF last?

Paint protection film, if installed properly on a clean surface will last anywhere between 5 to 10 years.

Can I install PPF over ceramic coating or wax?

No, you shouldn't. These chemical treatments will prevent the paint protection film from properly adhering to the paint. If your vehicle is ceramic coated or waxed, do not attempt PPF installation.

Can I use car wash if I have PPF?

Yes, please allow 2-3 days after PPF installation before using a car wash though. This allows the paint protection film to fully cure. Also, please consider using touchless car washes, to avoid the risk of edges picking up by scrubbing the car with a towel.

Can I install PPF in the winter?

Yes! You may need a heat gun or a hair dryer though, as paint protection film gets stiff and unsticky in cold weather. If the surface you are installing on is curvy, use a heat gun or a hair dryer to warm up the film - this will make it soft and sticky. When doing that, remember to spray the PPF on top with soapy solution, to avoid the squeegee dragging against it. Also, if any edges are lifting up at all, heat them up and push them with your fingers to properly seal them.
