Trays and Organizers Help
Center console trays, armrest organizers, and floor storage. Most fit issues come from buying the wrong vehicle generation — the section below covers exactly how to identify yours.

Before you order: confirm your vehicle generation
This is the single most important step. The console area is the biggest reason for fit complaints, and it's almost always a generation mix-up. As a rule of thumb, look at all the product images and see if you recognize "your" car. Use this guide to know what to look for:
- Rivian R1S / R1T: There are several minor differences between Gen1 and Gen2, but we have made an effort to make our products work on both.
- Tesla Cybertruck: Single generation so far.
- Tesla Model S/X: Interior changed in 2021, when they made the switch from vertical infotainment to 17" horizontal. Plastic accessories fit both S/X.
- Tesla Model 3/Y: 2024 Model 3 Highland and 2025 Model Y Juniper introduced new interior. Plastic accessories fit both 3 and Y. Earlier versions are usually referred to Gen 1 (2017-2020) and Gen 2 (2021 to Highland & Juniper) are most distinguishable by how the center console opens - pop-up in Gen1, slide in Gen2.
- GMC Hummer EV: Single generation so far.
- Cadillac: Notice that while the screen is the same, the rest of the interior is different and nothing else fits across models. Purchase products only made for your model.
If you're not 100% sure: email hello@twraps.com with a picture of the interior and we can confirm the fit with you.
Install & placement
Most TWRAPS trays and organizers are drop-in: no tools, no adhesive, no permanent modifications. They're designed to fit the OEM console area or dash precisely and stay in place by friction and the surrounding contours. The general flow:
- Remove anything currently in the area. If there's a stock OEM tray, that often comes out — check your owner's manual for removal procedure if it's not obvious.
- Clean the surface. Wipe down with a microfiber cloth and (if needed) a small amount of interior cleaner. Skip alcohol on leather or soft-touch finishes.
- Test the orientation. Each tray has a specific orientation — the photos in the INSTALLATION section of your product page show which way is up and front.
- Drop it in. Press down evenly. The fit should feel snug; you shouldn't have to force it.
- Open and close any related parts (armrest lid, frunk lid, etc.) to confirm nothing catches.
All trays include custom cut faux leather liners. Those will be included in a separate cellophane bag. Please, unwrap and put inside the tray.
Some trays may include removable dividers. It's up to you whether to use them and in what configuration. They are meant to stay above the leather liner.
If double sided adhesive stickers are included in your kit, instructions how to use them or where to apply them would be featured in the video presentation of the product.
Troubleshooting
Tray feels too small or too large for the space
This is almost always a generation mismatch. Check the list above against your vehicle and compare to what you ordered. If the variant is correct and the fit is still off, email hello@twraps.com with photos showing the gaps and your order number — we can verify.
Tray rocks, wobbles, or shifts during driving
A small amount of movement is sometimes expected (especially on textured plastic surfaces), but excessive shifting usually means:
- The tray isn't fully seated. Press down evenly across all four corners.
- There's debris underneath. Lift, clean, re-place.
- The tray isn't oriented correctly. Re-check the install section on the product page.
- For floor organizers without adhesive, friction may not be enough. Email us — we may be able to send adhesive strips.
Material quality concerns (leather inserts, carbon fiber finish)
Our premium organizers use real materials — faux leather inserts, carbon fiber-infused ABS, or carbon fiber detail. Real materials have natural variation: leather inserts may have subtle grain differences, and carbon fiber weave can look slightly different under different lighting than in product photos.
That said, you should never receive a tray with visible damage, scratches, or material defects. If yours arrived with a quality issue, email us photos.
Tray doesn't open or close fully because something is hitting it
Some trays sit close to the armrest hinge, frunk lid, or adjacent trim. If something is catching:
- Confirm the orientation. All trays only fit one way — front-to-back matters.
- Check the photos in the product page INSTALLATION section to compare.
- For multi-piece kits, make sure each piece is placed exactly per the diagram.
Stacking with other accessories
Customers regularly combine TWRAPS trays with each other and with non-TWRAPS accessories or with OEM accessories. If you're considering combining a TWRAPS tray with a third-party accessory and are concerned that there may be a conflict, send us a photo of what you already have and we'll draw on our experience to make a judgement with you.
Care & cleaning
- ABS trays: Wipe with a damp microfiber cloth. Mild interior cleaner is fine. Avoid solvents. Water and soap is okay. Hard brushes may damage the surface. Not meant for dishwasher.
- Faux leather inserts: Wipe with a damp cloth. Water and soap also fine, but needs longer drying. For deeper cleaning, use a dedicated leather/vinyl cleaner. Avoid alcohol — it dries the material.
- Carbon fiber finish: Microfiber cloth, dry or with a small amount of water. Don't use abrasive cloths.
Empty the tray before cleaning to avoid debris scratching surfaces.
We'll fix it for you
Every TWRAPS tray and organizer is designed in-house and 3D printed in our California workshop. Because we make each piece ourselves, we can adapt to edge cases — vehicle production tolerances can vary slightly from unit to unit, and on rare occasions a tray that fits perfectly in one car sits a little differently in another. If yours doesn't fit quite right and you've confirmed the right variant for your vehicle's generation, email hello@twraps.com with photos. We're happy to print a custom copy tuned to your specific car.
