First of all, this product is a challenge to install well. It may be a good option to purchase and bring it to a local shop for installation. But even if you do have it professionally installed, the lower piece did not align. Either I could match the R1T cutout, or match the corner of the tailgate - but not both. See pictures. This was mentioned by another reviewer - Rivian may have changed the location of the emblem.
The tool in the package is not the same tool used in the video- included in the package is a 1” rubber wedge - not the squeegee in the video which makes fitting large sections more challenging.
Im not a pro but I’ve done some PPF installation before so I thought I’d give it a go. I spent probably two hours on the job, had to cut around the emblem with an x-acto knife, but still I struggled to align and apply the film. I’m not sure if it has to do with the shape of the film or the verticality of the tailgate, but I declared a truce with three wrinkles and countless micro-bubbles remaining. It’ll do the job of protecting the tailgate but it certainly makes the back of the truck look like a mess.
A little difficult to make it attach without any bubbles, but it's nearly invisible and gives a bit of protection to the rear of the truck. Highly recommend TWRAPS.
Wanted to protect the top of the tailgate from swirls and scratches when opening and closing and this kit definitely delivered! Excellent quality and great instructions and seller support!

UPDATE: upping to 5 stars! TWRAPS got back to me and offered to redesign the bottom piece just for my situation or issue a refund for the bottom piece. Outstanding customer service, second to none!
I like TWRAPS products in general, they have clear instructions and fast delivery. I've bought several of their products (front bumper, rear fenders, door entryways, handles etc). This is the only one that has left me disappointed so far. The top piece is fairly straightforward, but the bottom one was extremely tricky, due to the cutouts for the letters. Even after I aligned all the letters of RIVIAN (after multiple tries), the "R1T" cutout did not align. Given the limited amount of time you have to get the bubbles out before the film adheres, this was very challenging. At the end I had to give up and trash the bottom piece, so I wish I had only purchased the top piece. The bottom is just not worth it.
Excellent quality and easy install! No more dirt and fingerprints when I open the tail gate!
Another great product by Twraps! Installing the bottom piece took a bit of patience but the results are great!
